Originally made as part of a residency for the Making and Knowing Project at Columbia University, New York. A life-cast lizard was recreated using an experimental recipe taken from the French manuscript ‘BnF Ms. Fr.640’. Two lizards were cast in bronze and captured using real-time video x-ray to test the ideas of the author. A third lizard was later commissioned by the V&A London 2021.
